Abbot

Venerable Choje Lama Shedrup is the abbot and founder of the Palpung centres in New Zealand and Australia. He was born in Tibet and completed the traditional three year retreat under Khabje Kalu Rinpoche. Following the wishes of His Holiness the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa and the 12th Kenting Tai Situpa, Ven. Choje Lama Shedrup traveled to New Zealand and Australia to establish dharma centers and teach.

Resident Teachers

Venerable Lama Lobsang Gende was born in Tibet and received ordination from Kenting Tai Situpa. He earned the degree of master after extensive study at the institute of Buddhist studies at Palpung Sherabling and completed the traditional three year retreat under Khabje Bokar Rinpoche. In 2008 Kenting Tai Situpa appointed him resident Lama for the Palpung centres in New Zealand.

Venerable Lama Lobsang Gende

Venerable Lama Tsewang Lhakpa earned the degree of master after extensive study at the institute of Buddhist studies at Palpung Sherabling and completed the traditional three year retreat under Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa at Palpung Sherabling. In 2009 Kenting Tai Situpa appointed him resident Lama for the Palpung centre in Tasmania, Australia.

Venerable Lama Tsewang Lhakpa
